You already understand quite a lot of Italian. But when it’s your turn to speak, it can be difficult to find the words quickly enough—or to stop worrying about getting something wrong.
In these lessons, you’ll have the time and encouragement to join in without feeling put on the spot. We talk about real life, not artificial textbook topics, and mistakes are simply part of the conversation.
We often begin with our cose belle della settimana: the positive moments, discoveries or experiences we genuinely want to share. The conversation grows naturally from there, giving you a reason to use the Italian you already know.
When a useful expression or language point comes up, I explain it in the moment. Afterwards, you’ll receive detailed notes so you can revisit everything at your own pace.

Both options include the same 60-minute live lessons, detailed lesson notes and weekly learning materials. The rate is €25 per lesson, paid in advance as a 6- or 12-lesson block.
These are ongoing groups, not separate six- or twelve-week courses. Most students renew their block and continue learning with the same group.

Meet your teacher
Ciao! I’m Claudia, an Italian teacher with more than 20 years of experience helping adults feel more comfortable speaking.
I was born in Lima and moved to Rome when I was 21. Today, I live in a small village in the Italian Alps and teach students from around the world.
My lessons aren’t about speaking perfectly or memorising endless rules. They’re about helping you feel comfortable enough to join the conversation, express what you really mean and enjoy using the Italian you already know.
I’ll guide the conversation, explain useful language as it comes up and make sure everyone has the space and encouragement to participate.

Is this for me?
This is for you if you already have some Italian but want to actually use it — not just study it. If you enjoy conversation, like learning in a warm and relaxed environment, and want to make real progress without the pressure of a formal class, you'll feel right at home. Still not sure? What happens in a typical lesson?
We chat — in Italian! Students often share something nice from their week and the conversation flows naturally from there. If a grammar point or expression comes up, I explain it in the moment. Afterwards you'll receive detailed lesson notes with everything we covered.
How many students are in a group?
Up to 6 students per group — small enough that everyone gets real speaking time, relaxed enough that it feels like a conversation between friends rather than a class.
